Currently there are many organisations providing training courses in terms of logistics and scm. These organisations are TIFFA, TNSC, TLAPS, etc. They all have their own institute and websites for you to contact.
My advice would be that a segmented approach to logistics may confuse your provincial businessmen. You must be able to demonstrate the linkages between the various business functions within a logistics systems.
With regards to field trips, I would say that ports/warehouses/distribution centres are appropriate but only represent one piece of the logistics puzzle. Ports are usually quite open such as bangkok or laem chabang port. You may want to take them to lad krabang ICD.
