Congratulations to the winners of the New Venture Championship (NVC) 2005

During 7 – 9 April 2005 a team of MIM students comprising of (from left to right) 1. Mr. Ekachai Wangprapa, 2. Miss Supishsha Sajjamanochai, 3. Miss Anchalee Chaichanavijit, 4. Miss Nantakan Chookarnkhar and 5. Mr. Atip Kulasiriswad won the first prize from the New Venture Championship 2005 compettition held at the University of Oregon in the U.S. The team’s A-Gro Solutions’ business plan introduces a patented new agricultural sprayer using ULEM (Ultra Low Energy Mist) Technology that reduces fertilizer/pesticide cost by 50% and boosts crop yield by 22% in the US$ 6 billion Thai rice market.


The team has beaten more than 20 top MBA teams from the U.S. and received the prize of US$ 25,000 in cash together with the “Best Written Business Plan” award.
