![]() ![]() To celebrate our great performance and graduation, MIM treated us with the Exit trip at the Village Farm and Winery during the 2nd weekend of July. The farm area covers 80 acres of high land, over 500 meters above sea level, an area slightly hilly with up and down slopes in Wang Nam Khiew district, Nakhon Ratchasima province in the north-eastern Thailand. In the morning of Saturday, we stopped by for rafting before visiting the farm. Since there was not much water in the river on that day, the most enjoyable part of the rafting was the fighting among rafts when we tried to take someone from his/her raft to our raft or to the water! After the fun fighting, we went to the Village Farm and checked in. We found that the rooms and houses are very beautiful. Well, only girls will agree with that because guys had to stay in the barn since almost 80 of us can’t fit in the nice houses. Thanks guys! After moving in, we got ourselves ready for the party (which was the main part of this trip!) and met at the party room. The farm’s staff taught us some wine knowledge and wine testing. Although I personally don’t drink wine, the staff did a really good job on teaching so I decided to give it a try. It was enjoyable. After we had dinner together, MIM 17 Movie, “Our Story”, was presented on the screen. The romantic-comedy MV was a collection of photos in all activities that we’d done together in the past 2 years. It’s full of memories, smiles, and tears. I’m glad that everyone likes it. And here comes the highlight of the trip. The tables in the front were moved for the dancing floor. Music. Microphones. Wine. Whiskey. Mixers. And Dr.Z came with Vodka and Tequila! Well, we drank a lot.. much enough to make Dr.Z sang Thai songs and Arjarn L danced!! The great thing was that we all were there together. It was the biggest party ever at our time and it was rock! I guess wild lives in the forest could hear the songs we sang until 4am in the morning. Then we got to bed and unbelievably woke up for very delicious breakfast. After that we took our time to survey the farm, take photos, and chitchat. Then we came back to Thammasat in the evening. Right after the trip, many of us posted emails to the group. Someone says he wants M17 to be together forever! Definitely the trip made us more united. It was a memorable trip that we will feel so good every time we think of. Millions thanks to our MIM director and staff.
