Since its establishment in 1983 MIM has produced more than a thousand of well-rounded marketers who have engaged themselves in all sectors of business in the region. It has become common for the MIM students to bump into their seniors wherever they go or in whichever business they are involved with. The needs for having a formal alumni association is growing stronger and stronger as years passed. Therefore, a group of representatives from most batches of MIM have got together to discuss and initiate the “platform” to serve this purpose. On December 21, 2005, a group of alumni led by Dr. Sukitti Urmahacharoen, a member of MIM-III, held a meeting at the Novotel Hotel on Siam Square, in order to form the official MIM Alumni Association. About 30 representatives ranged from MIM-III to MM-XVII have joined in the meeting which has promised to be a good start for an establishment of the MIM network.
