MIM-20
6 PM, doors opened and slowly the class of MIM20 was individually greeted and photographed by the MIM19 crew. We walked into a room brightly and intricately decorated by our upperclassman. The theme was set and as each of us walked in, dressed as various characters, such as Pharaohs, the Flintstones, Cat Woman, Sultans from Brunei, we were greeted by just as amusing costumes from MIM19. We could see witches, Sailor Moon, White Chicks, and most obviously, Doraemon running around pulling out random gifts from his mystical pouch to us "freshies." As the night took on its pace, a buffet line with large arrays of food was provided and we wined and dined as we would in any well respected Bangkok eatery. Sitting amidst familiar faces with heaps of food on our plates, we also got to meet with alumni of the MIM program.

Soon after, we were called to the stage where the real part of the night began. And just as at the Oscars, nominees for Best Leading Actor, Best Supporting Team, etc. were called out and were brought into the limelight as the crowds "Ooohhed and Aaahhhed" at the striking costumes and stunning faces. Both classes were assigned to host a show of about 20 minutes and both were fabulous, well thought out and well coordinated. The audience roared with laughter and cheers. No details stated here but if you want, a collection of the shows will be distributed in CD/DVD form in due time. Please contact your Class President for details.

As the sky deepened its blue and moon shone more brightly, the hard-core partying began. A band was brought in to liven the atmosphere and all our extremely hyper active students poured into the dance floor and brought the night to life. Students took turns performing on stage, both song and dance.
After many hours of engagement, the night had to come to an end. With us we will always have the memories, feelings, emotions that were built that night. The upperclassmen welcomed us into the MIM Thammasat family, a culture of warmth, teamwork, integrity, uniqueness, willpower and intellect. We will always have the smiles, laughter and even tears created to look back on and feel a sense of pride knowing we are part of such an endearing family. We from MIM20 would like to express our deepest gratitude for welcoming our class and for creating a culture so deeply touched in each of our hearts.

The biggest THANKS to all that were involved.
