Assoc. Prof. Dr. Axel Targarma led a group of Executive MBA students from School of Economics and Commercial Law, Gothenburg University, Sweden to visit the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University on 27 June 2006. The group was greeted by Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy upon arrival.

After the welcoming formality the group had the chance to attend to special sessions on “Welcome to Thailand” held by Dr. Ruth Banomyong, and “ New Venture Startup in Thailand” held by Mr. Bill Randall. The above visit was part of their EMBA curriculum.

Apart from the visit to the Faculty, the group had paid the visits to some other well known companies such as Thai-Swedish Assembly Pcl, Sahapathanapibul Pcl, Kasikorn Bank, Big C, Bumrungrad International Hospital and Bangkok Flowers Centre Co., Ltd. during 26 June - 2 July 2006. All the company visits were arranged and coordinated by the MIM Program.
